Bossa Shoes is a shoe brand with a heartbeat. We design shoes for women inspired by the feminine spirit and soulful elements of Rio de Janeiro, where we come from.

Our passion for shoes runs deep. Growing up in Brazil, our family ran a respected shoe brand for over 40 years, and talking about shoes was part of our everyday lives.

When we were little, we would spend our summer holidays helping in the stock room, on the shop floor, and even playing cashier for the day. These moments shaped our love for the business and the people behind it.

Each pair of Bossa Shoes is handmade in an family-run atelier in Portugal whose skill and care echo the values we grew up with.

Every new style we create is personally walk-tested by both of us to ensure it lives up to our promise of a confident walk. From long days on your feet to fast-paced city living, we obsess over every detail to tackle the most common pain points in women’s footwear - so you don’t have to think twice when reaching for your favourite pair.

But two pairs of feet can only tell us so much. That’s why we created Bossa Labs. A space where we test, experiment and refine our designs with our community.

By bringing more women into the process, we can understand how our shoes perform across different feet, lifestyles and everyday experiences.

We believe better shoes come from listening as much as designing. Bossa is built alongside the women who wear it, with their experiences and feedback helping shape what we create next, one confident step at a time.
